My father’s occupation is a house painter and his hands are always covered in harsh abrasive chemicals. Between frequent exposure to harsh chemicals and having to wash them constantly, his hands are rough, cracked, and covered in dry skin patches . We have been unsuccessful in finding any cream, balm, or remedy that has ever relieved the dryness he suffers from in his hands… well until we found the Luxuriant Cracked Heed Repair.
I know what you are thinking: “Isn’t this used on the feet?” Yes, it is. But the essential oils, vitamins, minerals, and shea butter used in it are very beneficial to dry skin virtually anywhere on the body. The Luxuriant Cracked Heel Repair is hypoallergenic, does not contain any latex, and is also useful on dry knees and elbows. It has completely healed my father’s hands of all dry cracks and infinitely huge calluses. It is a miracle remedy and I would recommend it for all dry body parts that do not respond to normal lubrications.
Have you tried it? Please comment and let us know.

If you suffer from low back pain, you know how miserable it can be to sit in an office chair for long periods of time or take long car trips. Typically lower back problems are caused by bad posture, and while there are a variety of products available to deal with the symptoms of back pain, the key to getting rid of back pain is to treat the source of it.
The Sacro Wedgy is a great product for dealing with low back pain, sciatica, hip pain, knee pain, and other conditions. More than just a product with a funny name, the Sacro Wedgy is designed to be placed under the sacrum, which is the large triangular bone at the base of your spine and upper part of your pelvic cavity, directly between your two hip bones. The design is based on an old osteopathic technique of placing a hand under the sacrum which elevates the bone and allows your hips to relax on either side. The Sacro Wedgy holds your hips in place, giving them the ability to drop, relax, and release. When combined with a firm neck support, such as the Dr. Riter’s REAL-EaSE Neck and Shoulder Relaxer, the Sacro Wedgy creates what therapists refer to as “natural traction”.

Because the sacrum is shaped differently on men and women, the Sacro Wedgy is available in two models. Keep in mind that this is not an immediate solution for bad posture or back pain. The Sacro Wedgy must be used consistently for you to begin to see results and for your muscles to balance themselves properly.

Since so many people suffer from back pain, the Sacro Wedgy makes a great gift. So give your loved ones a “wedgy” for the holidays, and help them say good-bye to back pain! And don’t forget the Neck and Shoulder Relaxer!

If you’re looking for a rolling shopping cart to make transporting groceries, laundry, and other items easier, the Shop-n-Go Portable Shopping Cart and Dolly from ActiveForever is the ideal choice. Reasonably priced at under $30, the Shop N Go is loaded with features designed to make your life easier:

Lightweight
The Shop-n-Go’s lightweight aluminum frame and durable canvas design keeps its overall weight at only 5 pounds… that’s 12 pounds less than other rolling shopping carts such as the Drive Winnie Wagon. This makes it easier to lift in the trunk of a car or take upstairs.
Durable
The lightweight aluminum frame of the Shop-n-Go Portable Shopping Cart is reinforced for extra durability. The heavy duty, all-weather canvas bag can support over 100 pounds of whatever you can stuff it with and can be used with or without the dolly.
Easy to assemble
The Shop N Go assembles in seconds and requires no tools whatsoever. Simply unfold the dolly and slide the canvas bag over the handle, then velcro it to the aluminum frame. Finally, snap the wheels in place with the integrated clips and you are ready to go!
Jump curbs and climb stairs
Unlike shopping carts that have the standard wheel on each side, the Shop N Go uses a unique system that rotates three wheels on each side. This design allows it to roll up curbs and stairs with ease, eliminating the hassle of the load bouncing around and making going upstairs much easier.
Protect your belongings
Besides the main compartment on the front that closes easily with a draw-string, the Shop N Go features two smaller zippered compartments on the back and an integrated umbrella holder on the side. Unlike the Winnie Wagon and other portable shopping carts which are designed like a wire basket, the Shop N Go’s canvas bag design protects your groceries and belongings from all types of weather.
So, before you consider purchasing a standard wire basket shopping cart, check out the features and benefits of the Shop N Go from ActiveForever. Lightweight, durable, functional, and affordable, this portable shopping cart and dolly is designed to make your life easier.

More and more companies are providing their employees which Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), which offer the employee a way to set aside money tax-free for healthcare spending that is not covered by insurance. We recently had the opportunity to experience use of both the Clarisonic Skin Care Brush System and the DermaNew Microdermabrasion Total Body Experience Kit, and the differences are astounding.
The Clarisonic Skin Care Brush System was recently featured on Oprah’s Favorite Things as a skin cleansing tool. While it does provide a way to clean the skin, it feels no different than using a damp washcloth and cleans just as effectively. It lacks the ability to give you a deep, penetrating cleansing. The bristles on the brush, while comfortable, are flimsy and most likely need to be replaced frequently. Overall, we were not very satisfied with this product. Shortly after receiving it we were informed of a recall: the brush and charging stand tend to overheat and cause fires! Because we only carry the best products, that really concerned us. Way over-priced at around $190, this product is not something we would recommend to anyone.
We were then introduced to the DermaNew Microdermabrasion Total Body Experience Kit, and we can say with absolute honesty that we were very impressed. Just like the Clarisonic system, it has a brush head for skin cleaning and polishing. However, the DermaNew is more than just a skin care brush system. It is also an easy-to-use and highly effective home microdermabrasion skin treatment device. As well as the brush attachment, the DermaNew also has two different size sponge applicators for microdermabrasion and a callus softening attachment. It includes a 60 day supply of microdermabrasion cream, an exfoliating body wash that can be used daily, and a skin moisturizer than keeps your skin looking healthy and refreshed.

Our CEO has begun using the DermaNew Skin Care System and is astounded by how great her skin feels after such a short time. She says it is comfortable to use yet gives her skin a deep cleansing. The microdermabrasion cream, body wash, and moisturizer are also available separately and are very inexpensive.

Overall we are very pleased and proud to carry the DermaNew Microdermabrasion Total Body Experience Kit and its accessories. It offers the ability to function as both a skin care brush system and as a form of home microdermabrasion skin care treatment, includes a variety of useful accessories, and costs less than half of what a Clarisonic Skin Care Brush costs. It is great for those with acne or acne related scars and works well as an effective anti aging device. We highly recommend this product. Grandparents and great-grandparents love photos of their grandchildren, but if they are not familiar with computers and have a tough time understanding modern technology, it can be tough to keep up with them. Like most of the population, I have begun using digital cameras as opposed to those that require film for all of my picture-taking since almost everyone I know has an email address and the photos are easy to store. Unfortunately, for those that do not have a computer or internet access to email like my grandmother, I still have to print the digital photos and then mail them. This can get expensive and there is always the possibility of the pictures getting damaged in transit to her. Thankfully I have found an HP product that solves my problem and keeps grandma updated on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: the HP Presto Printing Mailbox.
This product is fantastic – it is the exact solution I was looking for. Here is how it works: one of us (probably yours truly) sets up the printer at Grandma’s home using an existing phone line and standard HP printing cartridges. Once the HP Printing Mailbox is set up, we set up the Presto Service which issues Grandma an email address. The service is only $9.99 per month or $99.99 for the year, and it includes unlimited emails. We simply send the pictures to her new email address and the printer automatically retrieves and prints them for her. She also has the option to receive news through the same service. All we have to do is make sure she has paper, which does not have to be photo-quality paper, and occasionally change the ink cartridge, but the kit comes with both.

Grandma absolutely loves being kept up to date with the family and this finally gives us the opportunity to do so for her. Now we can make sure she constantly has photos of her 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson without the hassle of printing them ourselves or the risk of them getting damaged in the mail. I highly recommend this product for anyone who has elderly relatives or just wants an easy way to keep up the family. So far my weight loss plan for the early New Year has been a success. The Perfect Pushup has worked great: I feel my arms and chest getting toned and my strength increasing. I never knew pushups could actually be fun! I even bought the Perfect Pushup Travel Edition for when I travel this holiday season and throughout the year. It collapses down to be much smaller than the standard version, includes a travel bag, and comes with an instructional workout book. The Perfect Pushup Travel fits great in my suitcase and should make a great gift this season as well.

Unfortunately, my busy schedule doesn’t always allow me the time that I need to get the workout I want. So I started doing research and discovered a device called a Pedometer. A pedometer counts the number of steps you take. However, simply counting your steps is not the key to weight loss. Tracking the total number of steps should be a way to improve one’s overall step count. An average person takes 3,000 – 5,000 steps each day. Japanese scientists who researched pedometers and the science behind their use came up with a goal of 10,000 steps taken each day for a healthy lifestyle, or as it is commonly referred to, “10k steps per day”.
So far I have quite a ways to go to get to the ten thousand step mark, but I have found it easy to make the necessary changes to increase my total number of steps. When I go to the mall to shop this Christmas season, I’ll be sure to park farther away (like I have a choice) and take a few extra laps around the shopping center. The same goes for when I go to the store. I also intend to walk to shorter destinations that I would normally drive to and take my dog for more frequent walks (I’m sure he will appreciate that).

The model I chose was the Omron Digital Premium Pedometer Model HJ-112. Unlike most others, it counts both walking steps and aerobic (or jogging) steps. It also calculates the distance that I have walked and how many calories I have burned. The HJ-112 is easy to set up and, best of all, does not have to be worn on my wrist. It can be kept in my pocket, in a backpack, or on my belt with the included clip. I typically keep it on my belt, but it is so lightweight and compact that I hardly even notice that it is there.
Anyways, I am well on my way to my fitness goals with the help of the Omron Digital Premium Pedometer Model HJ-112. I’ll keep you posted on my progress. To learn more about Pedometers, check out the article titled “Counting The Steps To Physical Fitness – Pedometers Encourage Healthy Lifestyles Through Walking”. Happy holidays!
